What a mighty move of God we saw these past few weeks! It was truly awesome to experience the power of collaboration! For a long time now, I’ve been involved in missionary assignments in support of other evangelists. I had a taste of hosting – the work that I used to do alone, going from school to school, doing youth crusades, didn’t yield many fruits! But working with a team of fiery evangelists who are focused brought about a greater harvest of souls to the Kingdom of Heaven! Instead of going to one place at a time, we went to five different places all at the same time in a day! The power of collaboration.
The youth and their teachers are being washed in the blood of Jesus! In some schools, we had teachers who approached us and attested to sensing the presence of the Holy Spirit as we ministered! The blind eyes are being opened! The deaf ears are being opened! The hardened hearts are being removed and changed!
Online Evangelism Training
We recently embarked on new ways of training and equipping people online. Due to limited resources, the church came up with this idea as they are in desperate need to be effective in evangelism. This new method of training excites me as it allows the church to be effectively equipped from the comfort of their homes and gives a platform to introduce it to other teams. This will be done on a weekly basis!
1 Corinthians 3:6-7 NIV
I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.”
We had an evangelism training where three senior pastors, together with their congregants, were in attendance. I met one of them at a school where we ministered and invited him to the training. Knowing the needs of his church, he jumped at the opportunity and immediately rearranged his schedule to fit in our program. The church helped prepare the venue for us. Due to the number of events that took place around Mafikeng on April12th, we approached Mmabatho FM and asked for permission to announce the training on the radio. We called on local believers to attend the training, prayed, and asked the Lord that even if ONE person were to listen in and hear the call. Indeed, ONE person listened to the radio announcement on the day and came without knowing us. She shared that she is a member of one of the mega churches in the area that I had previously approached and asked the senior pastor to train his members. He stalled me, but the Lord has a way of reaching His flock!
During our feedback session, a senior pastor shared his heart, expressing that his eyes were opened and he realized that the lost and broken are outside, waiting for them to come in. He learned the urgency of our mandate and caught the fire of evangelism.
Your continued support in prayer and financially has made all of this work possible. The church is being equipped so that there can be more of us reaching out to the lost! The youth, their teachers, and school workers are equally hearing the uncompromised gospel, and their lives are forever impacted. The seed that you sow in this ministry is highly appreciated. May it bear tangible fruits in your life and that of your offspring.
God bless you indeed.
